Have you ever been told you are overdoing it in your ministry serving the LORD? In this Chapter, Jesus faces exactly that kind of response from his earthly family. What people don’t account for as they assess how busy we are is the incredible grace of God that enables and sustains us. God will never call us to serve Him in a way that He will not provide sufficient grace to accomplish.
However, as Oswald Chambers points out: “If you get out of touch with God the sense of responsibility will be overwhelmingly crushing!”
In this study, we then asked the question: What is the unforgivable sin? Are you or I in danger of committing it? How assured can we be of our Salvation?
The Jewish leaders, despite the miracles that were being done by Jesus, rejected that it was a work of God and attributed the power to Satan. Jesus exposes the logical fallacy of their argument and brings a solemn warning to all who reject the witness of the Holy Spirit.
